Today I woke up and turned on my pc and something strange happened.

It wouldn't boot fot the first 9 times I did a final boot (10th) and it worked and i got the system to run!

could it be the power suply which was failing to power up the system or was it the os (after i did a boot repair everything was fine working...)

Solution
It's possible your HDD was not getting power for some reason and the BIOS couldn't read the MBR. You're lucky to get the system back at all.
I suggest you back up your data in case your HDD fails on you without warning, and once you've backed it up, run some HDD checks to test the integrity of your HDD and Windows installation.
Other possibilities are PSU or memory problems, but I'd start with the HDD.
What happened the first 9 times? Depending on how far along it got in the boot process will help narrow down what piece is causing the problem. Or any beeps, noises, lights etc are all useful to know.

the system was looking normal. HDD activity was not blinking, during the 9 boots at first it was like not posting (beep)
and then it was just not showing anything for the rest 7 and rebooting rapidly!
at the 10th it posted sucesfully and did a boot repair and now it is working fine!

I have an SSD and my 500GB WD Green HDD has been playing tricks on me lately... see my other posts...
