So this is kinda long but there's a backstory and I'm not positive what my current problem exactly is. So here goes. When I built my PC, this is my first. And I decided (though it may be illegal, i get it) to get an ISO image of windows and use my code on my old laptop since I planned to never use it. Then windows got on me about the copy "not being genuine" after it had first been entered and my PC had been running well up until now for about a month. So i just decided to put my laptop's entire hard drive in my PC. Keep note that now I had two drives with bootable windows. Then when she fired up, nothing appeared on the monitor, but I could hear the windows twinkle noise it makes on boot, and when i switched to my Xbox's Input, it shows a picture so it's not a monitor problem. Then the PSU kinda flickered (its blue LED lit) and I got worried. I tried the jumper trick and nothing. So for my actual question, how can I know if its just the PSU that fried or the whole Mobo? And if it's the whole Mobo, what all needs replaced?

Specs:
CPU- AMD A-8 6600k 3.9gHz
Mobo- MSI A55m-e33
Memory- 2x4gb G.Skill Ripjaws Z Series
PSU- Raidmax 530ss
500gb WD Caviar Blue
250gb toshiba (from my laptop)
