Hi, i bought a psu today, i connected everything correctly but when i boot it, the pc freezes after a few seconds, sometimes after 3 secs and sometimes after 30, is the first time this happens to me.

Cpu: Amd Phenom ii x6 1090t
Gpu: Nvidia Geforce Gtx 750 ti
Ram: 8gb ddr2
Hdd: 500gb 7.2k
Mobo: Asus m3a 78-cm

And my psu is a Xue real power supply 460w with 80 plus standard.

+3.3v +5v +12v -12v +5vsb
12 A 12A 29A 0.5A 2.5A

Is the psu the problem?
Or
Can i fix it? The atx connector is a 2x4 pin, and my mobo use 4 and im using one of them, so if i combine the 8 pins in just 4 can i get enought power ?or can i blow up my pc or my psu?
