I have a corsair cx600 psu, that i've had for about 3 years now. I have a problem where my computer, when under load, suddenly shuts down and then boots back up, and informs me it detected power surges from the psu. I think this is because of a faulty connection on the motherboard 24-pin connector, though, because detaching & re-attaching that cable solves the problem, until it appears again randomly. I was recently thinking of buying a new psu, but before i buy it, i want to know whether the problem is with the psu, or with the motherboard. Also, i recently upgraded my graphics card from a gtx 750TI to a geforce gtx 970 and my processor from an i3 to an i7. But i don't think the new parts have anything to do with it, because i had this problem before.
