I am not going to call myself a noob since I've done it one too many times. I'm now promoting myself to Noob-Plus Industrial Edition.
Sorry, back to the serious stuff:
My room power mains socket is the standard 240v - 13amp outlet (3120w total output). I found a surge protected 8-gang 'linear' extension strip with 3m cable. It's perfect for my needs!! Before I could check-out, i had one quick peek in the description again and there it was....something I had overlooked '16a'. I thought it was 13a.
Would this be a problem? With the 8-gang extension, I only intend to use a total output of around 1200-1500 watts. So if the mains circuit uses a 13amp fuse, without exceeding output limits beyond 1500watts, can I use the 16a supported extension?
