Power Supply Questions.

Hello fellow forum members,

I've got two questions, here goes my first question:

I'm looking for a replacement Power Supply unit, but I don't know how much Wattage I would need on my Power Supply unit for my computer system, my system details:

2x External Hard Drives
5x Internal Hard Drives
5x Case Fans
GeForce GTX 780
Socket 2011 Motherboard
i7-3820 Processor
Noctua NH-U12S CPU Cooler
16 GB RAM

My second question:

Will I be able/is it safe to use my old Power Supply cables on a new/different Power Supply unit?

add 10-15 watts for your 5 case fans. Should be more than enough unless they all run full blast all the time.

Could have been a bit more detailed here and there (calculator), but thank you for the link!

Seems like around 850 Watt(ish) should be good enough? Correct me if I'm wrong here (anyone).

You need a good quality PSU with 44a or more on the +12v rail
