I have a corsair CX750m PSU and whenever i play games like FFXIV, Borderlands 2 or the witcher 3 my PSU will start making a rattling noise. almost like the fan is trembling or its hitting against something.
Not sure what this problem is, even when i use 3DS max or put my PC into sleep mode it will start making this noise. however whenever my computers idle or doing normal web browsing its just fine.

Solution
My Corsair TX750 made a "ticking" sound for a long time then it mysteriously disappeared. Anyway, not too many options:

1) RMA if possible (might not be)
2) Tap it hard a few times
3) Open it up

I'm a technician so I don't normally recommend this to others, but I had an XFX PSU that had a fan issue; I replaced the fan with one that was similar four years ago and it's still going.

Now that I think about it every PSU I've bought over the last TWENTY YEARS is still running and four of them had fan issues which is the only problem I've had.

Yeah i checked out the blades and they all look fine. if i can't find a solution i'm going to contact corsair about it.

It still has a minor tremble to it after switching its position. It almost sounds like the fan is loose or not properly secured in at this point.

I contacted corsair about RMA and its not valid, but so far the rattling is not a constant after changing its position.
I'm most likely going to replace the fan after a few weeks (if the problem doesn't get any worse) and that should help since i think the fans just cheap.
Thanks!
