Hello,

So I recently upgraded my PC but I’m still using power supply from previous setup (i5-6600k/GTX 1070Ti) - Corsair CX650M 650W

Honestly i’m not sure if i can get anything solid for under 100$ that will handle my new setup, seeing prices of reputable PSUs but that’s why I’m going to ask for help ;)

My new setup:
MB: ASUS TUF Gaming Z790-Plus
CPU: Intel Core i5 12600k + DeepCool AK620
RAM: 2x16GB G.Skill Ripjaws S5 Series DDR5-6000
GPU: PowerColor Red Devil Radeon RX6750XT
PSU: Corsair CX650M 650W
CASE: NZXT H5 Flow with 2x120mm front, 2x120mm top, 1x 120mm rear

I’m planning to keep this for ~5 years, playing on 1080p (maybe 1440p). I’d like to OC Graphic Card a bit but I don’t want to do that until I get new Power Supply.

I was reading a bit and looks like ATX3.0 compatibility is something important nowadays, so I found this for 99.99$:

Do you guys think it would be solid choice for the price? I have a lot of ASUS ROG/TUF stuff in computer already (keyboard, mouse, monitor, fans, motherboard) and they seem to be good quality 👍🏻

Thank you for the suggestions!
Did Coolermaster and Thermaltake improved over the years? I remember those two companies were on the bottom of the list for quality PSU few years ago, everyone was suggesting Corsair, Seasonic, EVGA etc instead.
How is their warranty?

Thank you guys! I will look for reviews of all of them and see what’s best fit for me! I wasn’t expecting to have that much choice in this price range so since I can choose between few I will look more into dB, cables etc from the ones you suggested!

Also question what is the difference between Corsair RM750x and Corsair RM750e? I can find the second option for 100$, while first one cost 120$.

EDIT: Found some answers online on reddit:

Biggest mentionable difference is Taiwanese caps (RMe) vs Jap caps (RMx), with the latter being of slightly better quality. I believe there is a slight difference in the fans as well. RMe should be just fine still.

RMe has a 7 year warranty, RMx has a 10 year warranty.

RMe has a totally different platform, lower overall quality, low quality fan with an anoying fannoise and 2023 model is ATX3.0 where the RM750x is not. But a would always pick the Cooler Master Vi Gold over the RMe and RMx because it's a better unit.

Focus Plus Gold is old and has shut down and ripple issues.
