Power Supply Recommendations

Hello, I am wondering if my current power supply will be sufficient for AMD Phenom II X2 555 and EVGA 9800GTX graphics card. Here is my current power supply. No offense, but that unit is total crap, its one of the ones that thermaltake grealy over rated, it cant do more than about 360W as seen in this review.

The power supply calculator recommends ~310 for your system, and since most of it will come from your 12V rail i dont think your unit will be able to handle it safely.

There are fairly cheap power supplies that are notably better than that one, even the Corsair 400CX will do significantly better and be able to handle that system as long as you dont OC. If you are going to OC i suggest the Corsair 550VX, Antec TP-550, or Seasonic S12II 520W.

Agree, get a better PSU, it's the most important thing in your system...

N.B: I'm a little bit surprise, when i look it's price ($42), i thought this is a good quality PSU for 430W, but the Hardware Secret said otherwise...
