Power supply requirement on GTX 1070? help

I'm thinking of upgrading my system by getting this 1070:

Its the ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Dual-fan Edition Boost clock 1797 MHz (boost clock is cheaper for some reason)

I was wondering if this would be able to run with my I5 4690K @ 4.4 GHz on a 500W EVGA PSU

Nope, not if you plan on anything harder graphically than a YouTube video. Minimum recommendation for a gtx1070 is 550w decent psu, sorry but that Evga 500 isn't that decent, pretty mediocre at best. If you plan on high OC then a move to a 650w psu isn't a bad idea, but not really necessary, depending on the quality of the 550w.
