Power supply requirement

Hello guys, i wanna buy a core 2 quad proccesor, gtx 960 4gb (or an r9 380 4gb), 8 gb of ram, install a 1 tb hdd, and maybe an aftermarket cooler. My question is how much power do I need to run this pc up?

The better question is, why would you buy a Core 2 Quad CPU in 2016?

To answer your question, you would need 430W with the GTX 960, and 550W with the 380. The 380 is a much better card, get it.

Anything above 500w should be fine. Make sure you go for at least an 80+ Bronze PSU for reliability and efficiency.
