I was told i would need a 600W power supply because of my graphics card,is this true or would a 500W work just as well.

Is estimate 400w system usage. at least a 550w probably better.

A quality 500W unit would be sufficient. The PSU you chose is not quality. I'd get something like this:

Considering your CPU and GPU are both AMD you may as well keep the 600. A 500 watt unit would be cutting it close and the 600B is not that great of a power supply to begin with.

I think the B2 is a good deal, as always. It's the single best value PSU on the market, if you don't mine rebates (which reminds me I gotta do my rebate for my 550 G2!)

I never got my rebate from my XFX XTR 650w I ordered a couple of years ago , but EVGA is good with them.
