My PSU has 4 SATA power connectors. The very first on in the chain got fried because I plugged in an SSD while the PC was on. I'm left with 3. The 2nd one, right after the one that got fried, works. I plug it into my SSD and everything works fine. However, I also have an HDD in my PC. The 3rd and 4th (2nd last and last connectors) do not work in my SSD. The BIOS does not detect the drive. Those 2 cables work in my HDD however (they show up) however the drive doesn't work properly. I've attached an image to be clearer. http://imgur.com/a/0mPsj

Yes, it is non modular. I'm wondering if it can be saved, and how the HDDs connected to the 3rd and 4th give power to the drives, but they don't work properly. Wouldn't the 2nd one have to be fried as well? How can it skip one and break the others? Also I don't want to end up buying a new PSU if its not, because I just went out and bought a new HDD, don't know if I can return it as it's opened.
