Power Supply Specs - How important is it?

I was looking to build and AMD-based system with a GTX1080ti/1180 single graphics on an X470 motherboard. With everything else being negligible (power-wise) what else should I consider other than wattage in shopping for the power supply?

If you are going to spend that much on a GPU then get a high quality PSU.

Recommended:

Seasonic Prime 650W
Seasonic Focus Plus 650W
Corsair RMX 650W
EVGA G2 or G3 650W

I would personally go with a 750W PSU if it was my system if getting a GTX 1080Ti, especially if you plan on Over Clocking.
