Hello guys, thanks too you for you read this and try solve my problem(and for my bad english).
Yearsterday i bought MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G, my previous videocard is ASUS NVIDIA GTX 660.
After i replace it, when i enable PC in first time of the day and play something that heats new GPU more than 60°?(last time near 70) i got my PC restart and i got this:

On the "American Megatrends" screen, I got this:

"Power supply surges detected during the previous power on. Asus Anti-Surge was triggered to protect system from unstable power supply unit! Press F1 to run SETUP"

BUT the strange is after 1 time in day ALL is OK, no reboots, but if i off my pc and go sleep, wake up and turn on my pc, thats happens 1 time in day again...(pc work all day, off only too night)

WHAT I DO:

1) Reinstall nvidia drivers last version with clean install
2) Test my videocard with kombustor and all is ok, if i dont run test where my pc launches first time in this day, because thats crash to american megatrends screen again...
3) I have ASUS z87-k motherboard and COrsair VS650 power supply

P.S. I know this PSU is bad, but i poor student in Russia and Putin take all my money, so i dont have money for buy new one, and that problem go only 1 per day...all other time psu is OK...may thats not psu?

Thank you for helping guys, nice forum, good luck

Solution
Send your GTX 970 for RMA now. It's causing overvoltages and it causes power surges. So your GPU is bad. Just contact MSI customer care and send your GPU for rma

Ah theres nothing bad with your PSU and the GPU you are using also doesnt puts a lot of load on your PSU. What i wanted to know is do you have any Surge Protector or UPS connected with your PC ? Because if you dont have and your area has frequent lightnign strikes or power surges then you better get a Surge Protector which should not cost anyhting above 15$. Buy it then plug your PSU's Power cable in it then run your PC and tell if it works. If you already have surge protection or a UPS then i think you should check that if all the wires of the PSU are connected properly. Especially the Power connectors to your GPU.

Hey I just checked about it, Everything is perfectly fine with your system. Its just a BIOS Malfunction. The best way to fix it is to update the BIOS to latest verison.
If you know how to update BIOS then good thing you just have to download the newer BIOS and flash it. Otherwise follow these steps :-
1. Download the most recent BIOS version from here - http://www.asus.com/in/Motherboards/Z87K/HelpDesk_Download/
2. Transfer that file into a USB Drive.
3. Turn off the PC and plug it in.
4. Turn on the PC
5. Boot into your BIOS and make a note of your current BIOS Version, then go to "Tools" and then "EZ Flash".
6. Select the USB device. Select the file. Press 'enter.'
7. You will be prompted one final time before applying the update. Review this and accept.
8. Check the BIOS version again to ensure the update was applied.
9. Then you will need to configure BIOS settings again manually.
Good Luck!

EDIT: Get a Surge Protector or more preferably a UPS! Its really Important!

If you have Corsair VS any model series- remove this shit ASAP. Just PSU is BIG SHIT. Never buy VS Series. Switch to aerocool 600w and all be ok. good luck

Not Aerocool but you can go for a Seasonic S12-II 620W PSU. Best you can get under that budget.

I wouldn't say it's "big shit". Tested units have shown to have nice, low ripple actually. Unless you have some data to back up that claim?

I mean, I wouldn't consider it for a gaming rig personally. But realistically, there's a large difference in a mediocre budget power supply and a piece of crap.

Asus anti-surge monitors the PSU voltage outputs. It should not be related to anything else. It can be disabled in the BIOS if you want to turn it off. BIOS voltage readings are not always accurate, and it could be a false reading.

We are talking about a high end gaming rig bro. Although yes, Corsair VS is good for Gaming systems with GTX 950 or below something with i3s or below processors. By below, i meant weaker.

I'm just saying, RusGuy seems like he is under some impressions that they are terrible units. I see this a lot about the web when it comes to VS and CX units.
