I have a corsair rm850x and an EVGA 3080TI FTW3 ULTRA. The PCI-E cables that come with this PSU are all 6+2 and only 2 of them. Understanding that I need a 3rd cable, are the 6+2 cables good to use for this gpu?

Any suggestions where I can find a 3rd cable that will be compatible and match with my psu?

Thanks!

You should contact Corsair for possible missing cables?
The RM850X has 5 hybrid PCIE/EPS ports - 2 EPS cables and 3 PCIE ones.

The RM850X has 5 hybrid PCIE/EPS ports - 2 EPS cables and 3 PCIE ones.

It has 2 of the 6x2pin PCI-E, and 3 of the EPS 8pin (4x4). I used 2 of the 8pin for the mobo/cpu and the one left over is labeled as for CPU - so unless there is a non-cpu specific one for general coverage that I used for the mobo/cpu, I am left with 2 of the 6x2pin and need to buy one additional.

2021 RM850x:
24Pin MB: One cable (610mm)
4+4Pin CPU: Three cables (650mm)
2 x PCI 6+2Pin: Two cables (600+150mm)
4 x SATA: Two cables (505+115+115+115mm)
3 x SATA: Two cables (520+115+115mm)
4 x 4pin PERIPHERAL: One cable (450+100+100+100mm)

i would contact Corsair, browse their online store, or check their Amazon storefront for a 3rd PCIe cable.
are the 6+2 cables good to use for this gpu?
they're fine.

Yes, correct they flipped it from the 2018 to 2021 model - that I knew. I just kind of needed the link for the correct one from Corsair and to know if the 6+2 carries equal wattage as the 8pin

From reading posts online, it looks like you "might" be able to get a free cable from corsair if you ask them. Not really sure how that works. Maybe an email to sales or something?

Here is Corsairs cable compatibility chart. You need Type 4 according to the chart.
