Hi all,
I am brand new here so I not sure if this is even the right place to post this question, but here it goes anyway......
I am building a PC. My MB is a Gigabyte, Z390 Designare. My power supply is a Corsair RM650x, ATX 12V, 80+ Gold, fully modular.
My problem is the connection to the CPU. Up top on the MB is the ATX_12V_2X4 and to the left of that is the ATX_12V.
So the question is.... do I have to fill both those connections with a plug? I am not running a graphics card or anything.
Also I have a M.2 question. According to the chart in the manual, if I use an M.2M drive in the MB, I lose SATA port(s).
So the question is.... I have two NVMe m.2 drives. There are two (2) places on the MB for these drives. If I install both of the drives into the slots provided, how many SATA ports do I lose? I am sure they are both M.2M SATA and not M2A SATA.
I know this is two questions in one post but I needed to ask.
Thanks in advance.....
