So i just recently bought an EVGA GTX 970 SC and installed it today. It seems to run fine when I am on the web, but as soon as I boot up GTA V I get a blue screen after 5-10 minutes. I also had my old crappy card installed dedicated to physX and figured that my PSU was too weak. However when I took out my 650ti it still blue screened when I played GTA V. I only just had this issue when I installed my new 970. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

SPECS:

CPU - 4790k
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 16gb
MOBO - Asus z97 Deluxe
PSU - Corsair CX600M
GPUS - EVGA GTX 970 SC , EVGA GTX 650ti

The cpu is overlocked to about 4.6ghz. The blue screen doesn't give me much insight, but it may to others.

Your 600w is enough for that setup. Is your 4.6 oc stable? That could be causing crashes. The blue screen could be cause by heat related issues. What are your temps?
edit:
How long have these blue screens been occurring? Also, is this a newly setup build? What cooler are you using?

Run into yet another issue. Every time I try to launch the BIOS it opens up, but it freezes immediately. I can not move my mouse or anything. I looked into flashing back the BIOS, but the manual didn't really tell me how to do it. Thanks for your help!

I did all of that. Figured it had fixed itself as I got a good 20 minute session in before it decided to blue screen. Still the same error code though.

So I downloaded BSOD viewer, and it appears that ntoskrnl.exe is causing the crashes. Not sure what that means, but after some research it seems like a common issue. Shall I upload my dumps?

Ok I am going to borrow the ram in my other computer and see if this persists

My bios is being unhappy and not allowing me to enter to boot to the flash drive. So swapping would probably be easier for me.

EDIT: I swapped out the memory from another PC I had. I experienced no crashes, and was able to enter the BIOS. As soon as I put the old memory back in the BIOS was instantly frozen. So all signs lead to memory right now. However I ran a couple passes of Memtest86, and no errors have been found.
