power supply wattage question

Solution

Way more than enough which is a good thing when using a lower end unit. As I said your system won't even hit 450w. You're fine.

Your system would run fine on a good 450w PSU.

If you already own this one its fine. If you do not there are many other better quality choices out there. The BQ PSUs are a low end line from EVGA and are designed in a cost cutting manner.

one more question, if I was to replace my gtx 1060 with a rx 580 video card. will my psu still be ok?

Still ok. I wouldn't do that replacement though, you really aren't gaining anything, they perform basically the same most of the time, with the GTX 1060 having a small advantage in some games, and the RX 580 a small advantage in others.

If you play at 1080p, the VRAM wont give much of an advantage.

At 1080p you don't need the extra VRAM it will make no difference in your gaming. If you were talking about going from a 1060 3gb to the RX 580 8gb then sure. But 6 to 8, not worth it at all.
