power supply watts

okay guys so i am making a new build for ghost , planitary annihalation and elder scrolls not to mention rome tw 2, and other rts games : , anyways i dont like those psu calculators as some seem over the top and some dont go into detail and i am looking to the community to help with with what psu watts i should get i will be using an msi gaming series motherboard Z87 with haswell i5 processor , i will be using up to 5 usb slot (max) and i will be adding a soundblaster card with a 1tb hhd and a 120gb ssd card and finally the gtx 760. also i will be using upto 5 high end case fans plus 3 that where included with my c70 case not to mention a possible cpu cooler and 1 or 2 neon lights. so on average what would you predict as being the most suitable power level i was thinking it would be around 650 watts to 700 watts. just to help i will not be overclocking and will be buying a corsair/be quite psu

650-700W sounds about right then. I think you might end up only needing like 500W, but I without knowing the exact wattage of all the other add-ons, its better to be safe than sorry.

yeah i have gone with a evga haswell ready psu at 700 watts, like you said i may only need 500 watts but i have plans to sli, an instead of the msi board i went with an asus z87 rog board so it will all work in harmony. since i did abit of research and this psu tends not to work with msi motherboards.
