Hey Everyone!

Its been a while since I roamed these boards but I am in need of your assistance. My 3 year old rig bit the dust, specifically my motherboard. I decided now is the time to upgrade what I can. The thing is, I have a 500W PSU (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817703035) that has lasted me these 3.5 years without much hiccups, but I'm unsure whether it is still the right fit for my rig. The only thing I am bringing over from my past rig is:

Radeon HD 6870 GPU
8 GB RAM

I will be adding these (Upgrading from i5-2500k):
i7-4770k Haswell (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116901)
Asus Maximus VI Hero MB (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131989)
8 GB RAM (Total of 16 now)
Windows 8.1

Would it be safe to continue to use my current PSU? If not I was considering investing in this Corsair (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139061) but would prefer if I could save money. Give me your honest opinions. I do plan on upgrading my GPU in a couple months and would pick up a new PSU then.
