is there really much difference between 80 plus gold and 80 plus bronze, and is it really worth it to upgrade from a 80 plus bronze power supply to an 80 plus gold one.

An 80 Plus gold will most likely be more stable then a 80 plus bronze, therefore will not fry your components with dirty energy. That being said, it is better to have a 80 plus bronze at least when building a computer. It would be worth the upgrade because you are spending alot on your other components but your power supply is a very important piece of hardware. I suggest a corsair or seasonic psu for their reliability.
