I replaced a fanless tower with a CPU fan in an old computer. This caused the power supply to make a lot of noise. The CPU fan I addes is "Intel E97379-001 CPU Cooler". According to pcpartpicker it has an estimated wattage of 10.

Will this change cause damage to the computer's power supply or other components?

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
