power surge graphic card

Every time i use the graphic cards on max, like playing overwatch, i get a power surge. Does anyone know why this happens? I have to lower everything.

You have a low quality psu which is most likely starting to fail. Change it before it fails completely and possibly damages other parts.

In relation to your question...600W Evga should be fine for that rig, you'd likely peak around 500W , it's sooner more likely that the PSU you have in particualr is faulty, in which case replacing under warranty should be fine. It's a budget PSU, but not an unknown terrible PSU, EVGA are a fine brand, anad have 3 year warranties.

However how do you know you're getting a power surge?

I use a UPS now because when i didnt the power for my apartment would all turn off and i'd have to go to the breaker and flip the switches to turn it back on.
