power up test problem

Suddenly my sons computer would not start up correctly. On start up the the cmos check looks weird. The letters are all jumbled, backwards, unreadable. Almost like a form of foreign lanquage. I can enter the bios but it looks the same. No beeping at all on start up. Computer worked fine untill suddenly the other afternoon. I added a picture of the initial boot screen for added information. Has the cmos battery died and need replacing?

You've updated your BIOS with a Klingon version.

Your bios is corrupt. It may be possible to reflash, but it will probably do the same thing again. Better just to get a new bios chip.
