[SOLVED] Power, voltage, wattage cycles

Have brought my laptop from USA to AUS and I was wondering, I have this converter that bumps it down to 110 from the wall 220. Im wondering if I should buy a power adapter and let the transformer on my laptop cord fix the power, or use the box one, then plug my laptop into that.

also i know that it can fix the voltage amps watts stuff like that, but what about cycles? arent the power on different cycles?

please excuse my lack of knowledge of power stuff i just know some general knowledge and may use wrong terms

and how will this affect my laptop using converted power if i have it like this for a very long time like months and years

Check to see if your charger supports the voltage already otherwise i would see if you can just buy the Aus version of your charger.
