Powercolor Radeon 9800Pro 128mb, any good?

Im considering buying a Asus Radeon 9600XT. Ive had lots of time looking at other cards since its late...

My question is: Is it worth buying a cheap 9800Pro instead?

The Powercolor Radeon 9800Pro 128mb is about 70$ more expensive than the Asus 9600XT.

Does anyone have any good/bad experience with the powercolor card?

As long as you get a decent guarantee with the card go for it.
At the end of the day its still a 9800pro. And at high resolutions with everything turned up you will see the difference over a 9600XT.

i have to agree with what he sais. Plus, on the 9800 your getting 8 pipelines and not just 4. Even a 9800np would be better.

Ill have a Sapphire 9600pro for sale as soon as i get it back. Had to RMA and theyre sending me a new one!

PC has been known to ship products with crummy memory, and poor overclockers. Also alot of people have reported being shipped underclocked cards. They also sold the R9700non-pro as a pro for a long time, and then changed the name to R9700GOLD.
