Hi, long time lurker here but first time poster! I included all the information from the sticky post, sorry for the formatting

I'm working on my second PC, I have now purchased all parts except the GPU. I've heard mixed things about this card, it was over my original budget of £200 but it seems really good for the price. Just looking for opinions or suggestions before I go ahead.

Here is the card: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/PTfmP6/powercolor-radeon-rx-580-8gb-red-devil-video-card-axrx-580-8gbd5-3dhoc

Here is my build: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/yr6V29

For the price, the RX 580 Red Devil is a good choice. Guru3D's review of that card shows maximum load temps are fairly good, only being a fraction higher than their GTX 1060 and slightly below their GTX 1070 thermal performance. On average the RX 580 8GB still outperforms the GTX 1060 6GB anyway, although it mainly comes down to specific games. AFAIK WOW favours Nvidia cards but Civ VI favours Radeon cards so fairly balanced. I personally wouldn't bother with the 3GB 1060... 3GB VRAM may be safe for more optimised/casual games now but this is changing at a fast rate and if you decide you want to play newer games soon at higher settings (which 1060/580s are capable of pushing) you may find the 3GB VRAM as a nuisance. If you're unlikely to be gaming with games that need 4GB or more of VRAM, consider the GTX 1060 3GB:

Or, for around the same price as the 580, you could have one of the lower-priced GTX 1060 6GB cards - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/products/video-card/#c=373&X=0,25000&sort=price

The reason I suggest them is that your monitors won't likely need 8GB of VRAM, and while you can save some cash with the 3GB, you can get a slightly faster card from the 1060 6GB. Similar cards though at those resolutions.

Not to mention the 3GB is also a weaker card, hardware wise not just VRAM. To conclude, the RX 580 8GB Red Devil seems like an excellent choice considering it's price. Hope this helps! :)
