[SOLVED] Powercolor Red Devil 7900 XT question

Is the Powercolor Radeon Red Devil RX 7900 XT 2 8 pins or 3 8 pins?
As it seems Powercolor are confused
Their website shows 2 in the specs sheet - https://www.powercolor.com/product?id=1668741687#spe
but the pictures attached show 3

website I bought one off shows 2 but they probably copied off Powercolor.

Its possible photo shows a XTX model but then I blame Powercolor as its on their site.
No one has reviewed it yet, So far only videos out there show the XTX Special Edition.
Guess I can wait and see for it to arrive, and I can answer the question myself.

Before you ask why an XT and not an XTX.

• The XTX only exist as sold out options.
• I don't plan on using it for anything higher than 2k.
• It is an upgrade over what I have now.
• its still $1000 cheaper than a 4080. Where I am anyway.

that works for the reference models but a lot of the OC XT have 3 pins.

It doesn't matter, I have the power connectors needed, I am mostly just curious which is right.

hmm it should be 2x8 pin anyway,as it has set TDP for 300watts, powercolor hellhound xtx is 355 watt and this one also has only 2x8pin, devil xtx is 450w tdp with 3x8pin

Hellhound is the slower of the two. Also isn't as fat.

thats from Powercolor website. It might be an exaggeration.

The GPU has Dual BIOS, Silent & OC modes
Techpowerup only tested it on the stock speeds, if they tested it at all and didn't just look at specs

Engine Clock(OC)	up to 2175MHz(Game) up to 2535MHz(Boost)
Engine Clock(STD/Silent)	up to 2075MHz(Game) up to 2450MHz(Boost)

the stock tdp of a 7900 xt is 315 now, but OC boards need more.
I don't know what the base power is of this card.

For comparison, the Nitro+ version uses base power of 368 and it does up to 2560, uses 3 slots.

they are the same pictures from powercolor website
scroll down a bit, there seems to be teardown

keep in mind both pictures also comes from powercolor website

just checked techpoweup bios database and there is just single vbios uploaded there, for 7900xt reference...either people not buyin these cards or not using gpu-z upload feature :/

Picturre next to Breakthrough Performance also clearly shows 3. So many contradictions on 1 page.

its funny, I didn't want to buy a card until I read reviews. I jumped early and there are still no reviews. I know its not the XTX but come on, someone should look at the cards. Instead most online GPU reviewers crying over fact cards didn't live up to rumours. Now they all think cards failed. Hype is bad thing if you believe it.

The photos cannot be trusted. The Powercolor website shows the same photos for the XTX or XT version. So it is possible its 2 Pins.
I don't feel its important enough to contact Powercolor and ask them...

I still think it would be nice if the webpage was consistent.
