Hi My R710 has been running Win 10 pro for several years fairly uneventfully.
Recently the video stopped working. It was from a pcie card so I tried from the built in vga, and with a different monitor and cable but nothing worked.
The OS (win10 pro) is loading - I can access shares over the network and I can connect to idrac start screen over the network with the default 192.168.0.120, but I don't know the password; the defaults (root and calvin) don't work.
Any ideas where to go next? If I connect via idrac ethernet port can I bypass the password requirement?
Thanks

Here is how to reset the iDrac password -- https://www.dell.com/community/Powe...-R720-IDRAC-password-now-I-can-t/td-p/4458788

Perhaps I haven't made clear that I have no video, so I can't see the bios screen to do anything. Remote management was not set up so I can't access it over the network. I can access file shares over the network so I know the OS is loading but again remote desktop or other vnc is not set up.
Thanks

I have never experienced a PowerEdge that did not show the BIOS during boot on the built-in video. Are you using a monitor with VGA input?
