[SOLVED] Powering a GPU with 1 or 2 cables from the PSU?

Hi,

I'm planning to upgrade from a 2060S to 3070 which comes with 18 +16 pin.

My PSU is LC8850III V2.3 Arkangel 3. It has 4 PCIE cables (https://www.lc-power.com/en/product...atron-gaming-series/lc8850iii-v23-arkangel-3/). Every cable has 2*6+2 on its end. Now I use 1 connector in 2060S (https://ibb.co/ZXMH7Hy )

For better cable managment I'm tempted to plug 2 connectors from the same cable into the 3070 . Is that possible or I should use a second cable?

People will generally use multiple cables, where feasible, out of an abundance of caution (and I do too). But it's likely not absolutely necessary. It's helpful that you have an LC-Power that isn't junk.

Its the nice idea. My psu cables setup that way so need use 2 separates.

Please use two cables!

One cable with an adapter is not a good choice!
