Question Powering a sata fan controller without a psu (more info in thread)

Now you must be thinking, what the hell am I on about, but basically I have a fan controller that takes power though a sata input and can power up to 10 fans, I'm working on a little DIY project that is essentially a cooling case for raspberry pis roku box, ps4 (only for exclusives) etc etc, if needed I could buy a cheap mobo and cpu along with a decent psu just to power it but I'm looking for alternatives on how to power it.

Found a way, used an old sata enclosure for 3.5 drives that gets power from the mains
