Powering my graphics card

I have recently bought a R9 270x graphics card which requires 2 6 pin power connectors that have molex connectors on them. I have one molex line (straight from the psu) that has 3 daisy chained connectors on it. Could I hook up the whole graphics card on that one line or will it catch fire? Thanks. If not what other options do I have?

If I understood you right, you need both 6 pin connectors connected to the graphics card. It won't work if only 1 of those is connected..

Not an expert here, but I've read that you want to avoid hooking up a card that requires multiple power connections on the same rail. I don't think it will blow up, but it could cause performance problems and lock-ups.
