Powerline adapter not working with laptop

I share internet with my neighbor to save on cost and recently bought a powerline for a stronger connection and it works only when my laptop is not on the charger but when it is on the charger it stope workingcomepletely

I can't say for sure but I believe it has something to do with the laptop being connected to the houses circuit that the powerline adapter is plugged into, if you have a large battery bank or a plug separate from the circuit used for the adapter it should fix your issues.

I have an old netgear router from my old house and the input plug is an ethernet cable, if you buy a shielded ethernet cable for outside you can connect a router like that and have wifi at your house from your neighbors.
