I was planning on buying this starters kit from the U.S and use it in India , will it cause any issues through the wall socket connections? Also i wanted to know how much ping does it give and the internet speed degradation levels. Are they almost equivalent to a direct ethernet connection from the router?.Also would, the AV and AV2 socket types work in India, and its not only specific to the U.S .I would really appreciate all the input i can get and that you can provide.

The problem you have is that those likely use plug type A. From what I can tell they sell exactly the same part number but with different physical plugs. If you look at tplink site and put in the US site and then the uk site you will see the same units but with different plugs.

You likely will need be careful where you order from. I would suspect if you order from amazon in the USA you will get type A plugs. You likely are better off ordering from a vendor in the EU or be very careful you get the correct plugs.

You can not use the plug adapters. You may get the units to power on but the adapter will degrade the signal.
In terms of speed powerline is not equivalent to Ethernet. Generally you only go with powerline if it is impossible to get a stable WiFi connection or run an Ethernet cord to the room you are trying to work from.

Please note the USA uses power sockets type A and B. If India doesn't use these types then the product you listed won't work. Plus as far as I'm aware the USA and India use a different standard for default Voltage and Hz. USA 120v @ 60 Hz.

Yes, in India we use Type C and D power sockets ,I checked in the official spec sheet and it says it works with EU,UK and US plug types , and the Euro Plug uses type C also and its 240Volts which is the standard in India.

Not everybody has subpar wiring , I'm Sure my house has quite a well insulated copper wiring , No I cant run an ethernet cable from the router to my PC , it'll spoil the decor and also probably have people tripping over it . Hence the only alternative was powerline adapter and i needed input.

Local the price is INR 6000 and if I convert it from USD its 2400 ($40), I checked , it supports 100-240V, which falls within the range of 220-240V, which we get here. plus it has EU pin type , which is similar to India's type C. My house has telephone wiring , which is copper and has the required insulation from phases.
