Powerline Ethernet Connection Drops Randomly

I recently built a computer and I have always had a problem with the internet connection randomly stopping. I have tested to see if it was the modem itself, but the internet only stops working on my computer, nothing else. I can post the specs of my PC if needed, Any help is appreciated

Any chance you can connect your PC to the modem directly with an Ethernet cable? a power instability could easily cause the problems your having by using a powerline connection.

I could, but the drops are really random. Sometimes I'll have 3 back to back, and sometimes I don't get one in a day. I've noticed also that it never drops when I'm playing online games, if that helps with anything. Thanks for the reply
