powerline or wireless network adapter?

i have a question, will a powerline give me a faster ping than a wireless adapter?

From my experience i advice ppl to get powerline's. Powerlines have a more stable connection then wifi. But a faster ping i don't think so. If it is for gaming -> powerline, is it for overall internet purpose then it doesnt really matter.
