So im thinking of buying a gtx 970, but it requires 2 6-pin power connectors.
I got one 6-pin, and one 2-pin connector availeble that are bundled toghether.
Somewhere else i got 4-pin connector bundled with another connector that is connected to the motherboard.
can cut open the sleeve that the availeble 4-pin connector is in, and then use it and the 2-pin connector to provide the power necesary?

Solution
Do you have 2 open LP4 connectors on your power supply?

You might be able to scrape by if you get a 2x LP4 to PCIe 6 pin converter
http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-6-Inch-Express-Adapter-LP4PCIEXADAP/dp/B0007RXDDM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1464104832&sr=8-1&keywords=molex+to+pcie
But you'd really be better off getting a more reliable PSU. Like Antec or EVGA, that actually comes with 2 6 pin PCIe plugs

It is a cooler master with 500 watt RS-500-ACAB-B1 so there should be enough power.
my motherboard is asus b85m-g by the way.
pcpartpicker finds no problems.

Solution
I screwed up, because i actually have two of those connectors but for some reason under the "overview" tab it says that there is only one, but under the "specs" tab, it says there are two. check for yourself: http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/b-series/b500ver2/
I am sorry to bother you guys, but i am very happy you all replied so well and so fast, so thank you for that!
