Powersurge Killed Me

Ok here goes.... i moved into a new house and well the power was a lil faulty.. long story short my comp was hit with a power surge and althought its not completely fried...... it's def not right.. it doesnt load well.. its slow as a slug.. it internal lags, umm however i am writing this post with it.. it went from being a very productive gamer for me, to well umm a nice forum browser... ive thought about just reformating.. but story of my life.. i have no disk so ive turned to you guys, hopefully one of u can help me with some ideas thanks alot for takign the time to read this..
