PrC Consortium Question

Archived from groups: alt.games.neverwinter-nights (More info?)

I just installed it and wanted to try out some of the different
classes/races in the OC. I updated the OC and both expansions (plat. ed.
updated to 1.65) using the PRC Consortium module updater but when I try to
start a new game in the OC I don't see any of the other races and although I
see the other classes they're all grayed out. I know most of them are
prestige classes but even those that are base classes are still grayed out?
How can I use these new races/classes in the OC?
P.S. I do have the latest CEP installed but I didn't think that matters
since the OC and expansions don't use it.
TIA!!!

NM...figured out that you need to use *their* character creation prog.

There's only one PRC CC. It is labeled as "Linux and Mac compatible"
because it's written in Java. It will run on Windows as well.

They've also got their own forums.

cool got it... but wondered.. not much documentation included... what does
each CEP and PRC do and how exactly are they different??? and if I install
PRC on modules, can I remove it safely... like on official modules??

There's a whole set of docs, but it's a separate download.
