Hi, I'm interested in purchasing a pre-built and was wondering if this is good value for money:
ADMI Gaming PC: Ryzen 5 2600 Six Core 3.9GHz, GTX 1660 SUPER 6GB, 16GB 3000MHz, 480GB SSD, SPEC-04 Glass Case.
Motherboard is Asus A320M-K.
Price is £800.

I definitely agree with @Hellfire13 ,you should try building your own,but if you for some reasons cant,althought its a pre-built it really isnt that bad for the money

This will be my first descent pc, so my knowledge of computers it quite basic. My thinking was I'd rather get a pre-built, become accustom to the components and later down the line dive into making my own. Thank you guys for your time tho!

The main issue with the prebuilts is the things they don't tell you.

What specific SSD? Might be great, might be crap.
What specific PSU? Might be OK, might be half step away from a dumpster fire.

They tend to cheap out on parts people don't notice, and just use big numbers.

Yeah true, and one of the reasons why building your own is the way to go for the future. I'll try to contact them regarding these parts but doubt I will get the information I need, and whether there is any parts that cant be replaced as I have heard that to be the case for some pre-builds.

And replacing substandard parts quickly turns your £800 purchase into a £1000 system.

The main issue is selecting a good parts list, within your budget and use.

Assembly...there are many videos on that.
My grandson built one when he was 11. It is reasonably easy.

Read the directions, twice.
Go slow.
Ask lots of questions.

You will end up with a far deeper understanding of how things work together, rather that it being a mysterious black box.

Besides building yourself, depending on where you are, you can also get it assembled from a local store after purchasing the parts online. But building yourself is a lot of fun.

Admi are honestly fairly decent as a prebuilt supplierer, the warranty and after sales support is also decent.

The only issues I have are

1. They tend to use cheap 320 series boards in all their lower end ryzen builds.

2. They use corsair vs (the newer models though) or coolermaster mwe bronze psu's.
While not absolutely dire they're still low end and not something you'd generally buy yourself when building.
If you do buy one of these be prepared to replace the psu once you're out of the warranty period.
