Hi everyone --

I'm looking for a pre-built, halfway-decent gaming PC under $750 (including OS.) I don't need anything extravagant, I'm not a computer expert and mostly I play strategy games / Paradox titles - but I'd like to be able to play something like Rome II on decent settings.

This is what I found on Newegg that looked like it would work -

I like the 2GB R9 270 video card over most of the cheaper Newegg builds that have the R7.

I'm hoping all you experts can give me some feedback and suggestions if there's any better options out there. (And before you tell me I can do better building it myself, I know :)

Thanks everyone!

well, dont try to build it yourself if you dont know how, but i would suggest you watch a couple youtube videos about how to build one yourself, and ream the manuals that come with the parts carefully about how to put them in, but its pretty simple really, hardest part is putting in the mobo, but aslong as you are careful you wont mess anything up.

Sounds like the consensus is that I should just do it myself. Any recommended builds, before I search all through the forums? Thanks again, everyone -- real quick replies!

Ok folks, message received about building vs. pre-built :) I have a friend who built his own who I can talk to if I need suggestions, plus that video looks helpful. I found this build on the forums -

I'd like to stay under $700 - $750 including OS, since I'll need to add a monitor and Office and would like to keep the entire bill to under $950 or so. Any tweaks to that build?

Thanks again for everyone's replies!

Go for this build instead, much better quality
