It's used for 1000 dollars, I'm buying it for my little brothers. Any thought on this ? I benchmarking it hard obviously before buying. Have done that before on a PC.

Is it worth it ? Also he can throw in a titan instead if the 970
Im interested because its small form and I don't have to order part by part. I live in a small city for asking such stuff is hard and thus making the price low.

im actually taking the titan, the 970 is an asus mini.
plus, i have the original titan my self and its still pretty impressive.

its an asus 970 mini though, thats the thing. the card is a small form factor. plus with the 3.5 buffer, makes it bad for anything higher than 1080p. while the titan has 6 gig buffer making it ideal for 1440p

anythoughts ?

Well the 970 still bests the titan in high res games as well, as for the frame buffer 3.5GB is lots. If you want the titan get it. Will it fit in that same case though? I remember reading a lot about it actually being possible to put in a small form factor case.

There are certain situations where the larger frame buffer will come into play, such as large amounts of mods but in general the 970 beats the titan at all games and all resolutions bar 1 out or 2 out of 20 posted on anandtech..... for what it's worth.
