ok my birthday is coming and i want a pc for it a gaming pc and im thinking which one is better pre built or custom build i know how to build but i dont want to work on my b-day im thinking of alienware
Expensive Ware vs awesome PC? it is up to you if u wana pay 1500USD+ for something worth around 700USD give or take
i would go with custom and get something that can run everything at ultra with the ability to easily upgrade instead of dealing with a pain in the nose from dell
building my PC with some help took less than 20 minutes to get everything done
If you take your time and make sure you not make mistakes, it takes maybe 3-4 hours before you have Windows installed. Then you'd likely spend a few days tweaking stuff, and installing games. The last system I put together took an hour.
It couldn't possibly take more than an hour. The only thing that's slightly harder to do is to apply the thermal paste on the CPU and install it, which you can do easily if you are patient and take your time after having seen a video on how to do it. Everything else is just plugging in cables with unique outlets (can't be mistaken) in each other and attaching the motherboard to the case and the components to the motherboard.

There is a big difference between doing it your first time, and after your 3 or 4 time.
Your first time, you do need to spend time and read the manuals. You should not be in a hurry, or you are bound to make a mistake.
^ it differs from a person to person for me i just plugged everything my self than i got someone to help me with installing the CPU cooler ( H100i) everything else was a easy just screwing mobo stand off plugging cabels etc installing hard drivers (most cases have tool/less HDD/SSD anyway so basically it is all plugging stuff and screwing them in just make sure u get HELP with the Cooler it is the hardest part IMO
It's really not hard at all the most time consuming thing for me at least is cable management I can spend a long time hiding cables but if you don't have a windowed case to show off you don't even need to worry about all that.
