Hi everyone,

I found this pre-built video editing computer and I wanted to know whether it is value for money, or whether it is over priced?

The Evolve 4K workstation offers a considerable step up in performance from our HD range, available with up to 18 CPU cores and dual NVIDIA GPUs, optimised for online editing and colour grading 4K/UHD video. Featuring the 12-core Intel Core i9 10920X CPU, professionally overclocked to 4.3GHz, 64GB of 2666MHz Corsair DDR4, 8GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super graphics, 500GB Samsung NVMe SSD for the OS and caching plus a 1TB Samsung NVMe SSD project drive.

It costs £3,565.88

Unless you're editing with DaVinci Resolve The 2nd GPU will do nothing. The most popular editing program Premiere Pro can do nothing with the 2nd GPU and a single 1660 will work just as well as a 2080Ti. Now if you use After Effects as well then the 2070's and above will give you more performance.
I edit in Vegas Pro 17 and price to performance AMD cards work better then Nvidia cards up to around the 2070 Super level. The truth is GPU's just don't add much performance to Video editing software UNLESS you are using Resolve.
