Pre-installed windows 8.1

Hi friends,

Can someone explain me a little bit detail about pre-installed windows 8.1? Because recently I bought new laptop that come with pre-installed 8.1

It is Windows 8.1 (in your case), and manufacturer took care of installing it for you so when you take it out of the box, it is (almost) ready for you.

Make sure you use Recovery Media Creator to make recovery DVD/USB in case you want someday to reinstall it from scratch.

You mean without all the bloatware.

Maybe.

First, create the Factory Reset disk set via however the manufacturer says. Just in case.

Second, go here and do this:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-CA/windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

Create your install media and attempt the install.
If it fails, you have the fallback to the above created Factory install media.

I just did this last week with a friends new laptop. Different install media, but it picked up and used the original embedded license key from the original install.
Result, clean Win 8.1 install.

Then you proceed to install all your junk.
