Hello

I have recently purchased a prebuilt system.

I have had to return it once already within a week due to temperatures being too high.

Under load both CPU/GPU was exceeding 100oc.

Now it has been returned the GPU goes to about 70oc under load but CPU is still going to high 90s-100

Scan reckon this is normal and from testing, they said 'no fault found'

Any help appreciated!

link has changed on the website, i did change it slightly

when i say underload, just loading any game, I tested fortnight and CPU was going to 90s 100

If it's the stock Intel cooler that is the problem they are rather bad.
Also gaming to me is not under load a CPU stress test with Prime95 or OCCT is.

No, that is NOT 'normal, nothing to worry about'.

That is lazy techs at your retailer.

Either something is not mounted correctly, or they should have recommended a different cooler.

That's not remotely normal. The 11700F is a very hot chip even at stock. Sounds to me like the cooler is woefully inadequate.

I would upgrade the cooling. You got the cooler you selected and to them it is performing as expected.
Decent cooler at a good price and 154mm tall should fit in most cases.

Unless you wish to send it back to scam and let them upgrade the cooler. You might need to check with them to see if you upgrade the cooler will it void your warranty!

I would think since all of those are customizable a unknowing buyer changed to cooler to the stock cooler to save money. Could be wrong and the stock cooler was the default cooler.

Could be.
But Scan saying those temps are "normal" is not right.
Further, allowing an insufficient part to be included....also not right.
