That build looks good except I'd add one more 120mm case fan and maybe get a slightly better quality SSD if you have the few extra dollars to spare. Also just so you know I would HIGHLY SUGGEST you get a FreeSync monitor if you do in fact get an AMD GPU, it makes First person games much smoother.

Thanks for the help. How would this compare to modern day consoles?

It will completely smoke them (though it is 2-3x as expensive). With 8gb of VRAM you can play with ultra textures and higher settings, and you can reap the benefits of PC as well (such as ultrawide, FreeSync, cheaper games, basically every controller support, and keyboard/mouse support).

The cpu is roughly about 3 times faster than the cpu in ps4 pro and 4 times faster than the cpu in xbox one s. The gpu is about 50% faster than the ps4 pros and 3 times faster than xbox one ses.

Im looking forward to this build thanks for the help. So what would i do about the rbg lighting i would have to install that seperately right which shouldnt be a problem

No. They're both the same cpu, the x version just has bit higher stock clock speed but both can be overclocked to about 4GHz with a good cooler.

So does it come with a stock cooler is that why there isnt any additional cooler listed on the list? Im sorry im such a newb. And if i needed a better cooler which would u suggest

The Ryzen 1600 comes with it's own wraith spire cooler. If you want, the cpu can be overclocked to around 3.7GHz with the stock cooler but if you want to overclock it further, you're gonna need an aftermarket cooler like the Cryorig h7
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/93Crxr/cryorig-cpu-cooler-h7

But with stock speeds/small overclock the stock cooler is enough.

Thanks so much for your help. I was so indecisive on what to do before coming here. Saved the build will be purchasing and building.

Quick question about the build. It has 2 storage parts on list on pcpartpicker i cant pick 2

Why can't you?

Wow i had to go the Full Site wouldnt let me do it on mobile site just found out.

Youve been so much help. Whats the purpose of 2 storage parts? Really trying to learn a little along the way also

The smaller kingston ssd is for windows and programs you want to load quickly while the larger seagate hdd is for storage (files, movies, pictures, games...).
SSD = fast but expensive
HDD = slow but cheap
