First, I don't have time, patience, or knowledge to build a PC myself. Buying a open-box prebuilt PC with a good processor and crappy GPU and replacing the GPU is cheaper than what I could get with a custom-built. I'll also be adding (not replacing) an SSD and a wireless adapter that takes up one PCI-E x1 slot. I'm not planning to overclock the 1080 yet.

I DONT KNOW THE SPECIFICS OF THE HARDWARE IN THIS PC!!!

The PC I'll be upgrading is an Open Box Cyberpower Gamer Xtreme S101:

CASE: Corsair SPEC01

CPU: i5 6600k @3.5ghz

RAM: 8GB DDR4 2400 (4gb x 2)

STORAGE: 1TB SATA III 7200 RPM
(Adding a Team Group L3 Evo SATA III 2.5" 120GB SSD)

GPU: GTX 750Ti 2GB (Replacing w/ GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X)

PSW: 600W 80+

MOBO: Intel Z170

PCI: 2 PCI-E x16 (1 more available)
3 PCI-E x1 (2 more available)
2 PCI

I just want to replace the GPU with a GTX 1080 and stick an SSD in there. Will there be any problems at all such as extra cables, custom configurations, hardware replacements, better PSW, etc,.?

Solution
Watch out for the PSU, if it's put in there with a 750Ti in mind it's probably absolute garbage and will blow up in your face when you turn the 1080 on!
