Question Prebuilt options

Does PC Partpicker list pre-built PCs?? Maybe, I haven't seen any.

If your buddy is willing to build it, he could avoid the weaker points of pre-builts....which are typically the power supply, cooler options, and case.

Micro Center is typically very competitive on price, but I don't know the finer points of those 2 options you listed. Powerspec may be their house brand?

You could probably run the major components listed for those 2 machines through PC Partpicker to get an idea of the "worth it" of the price.

I'd probably see what I could get from places like Costco or Best Buy also.

Hey there,

Of those two systems, I'd say the one for 799, is better value. For the extra 250 for the other one, you are getting 500gb extra storage, and although a solid all round processor, the 5600x3d is hard to turn away from. Similar between 3060ti and 6650 xt.

In terms of worth, only the purchaser can really say, but I think the AMD system for price and performance is what I'd go for.
